Hi, so, basically what the title says.
What is your favourite place for a home stable? And why of course.
My current home stable is in Jorvik Stables. Although most of my quests are on main land (Silverglade and such), I like it there because it doesn't seem too crowded. And I really like doing the races on Paddock island and at the stables, so it's always the first thing I do after I take care of all my horses.
(not creating a poll, just in case I forget a place you can get a home stable )

My favorite place is Fort Pinta. I like it because there are the ferries to Jorvik Stables/Golden Hills and the ferry to South Hoof right there, as well as a pink trailer for easy transport. I also like it because it's right by the water and I love the sea sounds in SSO. I also like it because there are a lot of people there. I never socialize with people, but it's still nice to see all the higher level players with the lower level players.

Mine is Valedale cause I like the woods and the river, the nice cottages and all the rose bushes. Also it is closer to the main quest/druids stuff and easy press the button to get brought home than to ride the long way there For a while my main was in New Hillcrest cause I didin't go there enough and so I started there with the races and jobs and went then to the main land But I'm back in Valedale cause I love it there..

I use Fort Pinta. I've resided there since I unlocked the place, and I have never moved since. It's near everything: Trailers, Bus Stop, Beach, Ferries, and whatever else is useful there. It's also nice just chatting on Global or wherever without a stampede of people/horses ruining your view
I honestly have to say that I don't really have a favorite, mostly cause I have never switched after I moved to Steve's. Though, I feel like switching to Fort Pinta because I'll be closer to ferries, and transportation would be a bit easier, also less crowded.
Mine is at New Hillcrest. Just because it's right next to my favorite place, South Hoof. The mirror marshes are really nice too. I switch a lot though so I may go to Valedale later since I also like it and it's easier to access places from there.

I am in love with New Hillcrest. I don't think it looks the best, but I feel like it has great access to everywhere! The harvest counties and South Hoof are on your doorstep but then it has a trailer so Mainland is only a trailer ride away if you choose the Inn by the Bridge. You can then run to the circus trailer. I also like that the stable noticeboard gives you 5 (or 6?) chores for getting a little more jorvik shillings.
I think Fort Pinta would be my second option for a stable because it has the ferries and trailer, and also the cute beach, and disco!
rubyskywalker: They seem really pretty and I'll definitely get one sometime!

feliciawinterlord: I don't get why they don't remove the Morgan from the horse app if they need space. I kinda felt it was pointless that they added it in the first place, as its already in the game...and no one asked for it
Oct 8, 2019 8:05:22 GMT 10
rubyskywalker: True... it'd give another reason for more ppl to save/buy sc for one on the app. Another get it before it's gone... but longer than a month or so.

Fennec☆: Yeah, they shouldn't have added it in the first place. It was useless for me as I already had the horse in my stable before it even came on the app :,)

rubyskywalker: Where is the missing cat quest?
Oct 10, 2019 13:53:19 GMT 10
Anouk silentwolf: no calico maybe one day with more colors
Oct 11, 2019 7:52:06 GMT 10
Luna Autumndew: rubyskywalker In case you haven't seen it, you should see the missing cat quest immediately after you log on. If you leave the area you are logged on in, the cat quest disappears, so you'll have to relog to see it again.

Luna Autumndew: About the horse app, I don't think it really matters whether or not the Morgan is on the app. Even if they took the Morgan off the app for a different horse, SSO would still run into the issue of space.
Oct 11, 2019 8:08:52 GMT 10
Luna Autumndew: Hopefully since they are taking a lot of time with the mobile app (since people are *anxiously* waiting for the last Chincoteague and Andalusian), something "good" will come from it. (The last batch of the Chincoteague came out on April 24 for reference.)

dragonfire: Do you know EXACTLY where the B-day Race in/around Jorvik Stables is at? I can't find it anywhere! Never mind. Finally found it. it is between the Stables & the Milk Cows!

This weeks update!
Our updated Akhal-Teke is here! May 22, 2019
Hey StarFam! Today it’s time for us to release a much requested horse - the updated Akhal-Teke!
The graceful Akhal-Teke This unique beauty originates from Turkmenistan and is a very slim horse with extremely thin hair in its coat, which gives it an almost unbelievable shine. The Akhal-Teke is also known to have a very thin mane and tail, sometimes to the point where the mane can’t grow longer than a few centimeters.
The Akhal-Tekes of Jorvik have a unique shine to them - you won’t believe it until you see it!
Will one of these graceful horses join your StarFam? ★ What's the new breed? The updated Akhal-Teke!
★ Where can I get it? One horse is located in Fort Pinta while you find two more at the new horse market place at the Silverglade Vineyard.
★ How much does it cost? 850 Star Coins.
★ What level do I have to be? You can buy the horse in Fort Pinta right away, but you must have reached level 13 in order to get the other two horses.
★ Do I need to crunch reputation? Nope!
★ What colors can I choose from? A perlino, a buckskin and a sooty buckskin!
A brand new audio story! We have something very special to reveal - a FREE Star Stable audio story! This short story is called “Texas Bluebell” and revolves around our Soul Rider Lisa Peterson, who’s haunted by some terrible memories during a beautiful spring day out on a ride with Starshine.
This short story is the first in a series of stand-alone tales of Jorvik. More audio stories are on their way! As of right now, the audio story is available in English and Swedish only, but we’re looking into the possibility of translating it into more languages in the future.
Or click HERE for Swedish
What’s going on in Greendale? Riders passing through Greendale Forest have reported they’ve heard someone singing somewhere in the woods. Where is this music coming from? You better head out there to investigate!
To be able to play this mini quest, you must be a Star Rider and have completed the quest where you free Lisa from Pandoria.
New horse in Star Stable Horses! A very special North Swedish Horse foal has arrived to our free-to-download app Star Stable Horses! In Star Stable Horses, you can raise your very own horse from a baby foal up to a level 10 horse, ready to hit the Jorvik racing tracks with you as its rider. When this precious reaches level 10 in the app, you can transfer it to Star Stable Online for 749 Star Coins. The coat of this very special horse is called Texas Bluebell, and if you listen to the audio story by the same name you just might figure out why...
This special horse is not a Jorvik Wild Horse and will therefore not change its coat colors. This unique horse coat is available for a limited time only. Make sure you transfer it to Star Stable Online before July 1st if you want it to join your StarFam!
Coming NEXT WEEK! Next week we’re finally releasing Linda Chanda’s show jumping saddle! But that’s not all!! We are also releasing some matching bridles, a few saddle pads and leg wraps in new, fancy colors. Stay tuned!
Spirit is leaving soon! It’s almost time for Spirit to leave Jorvik! During the Wednesday Update on May 29, Spirit, along with the fangirls Tori and Sally in Fort Pinta, will leave Jorvik for good. If you’d like to befriend Spirit and invite him to stay in your home stable, make sure you do so before next Wednesday!
If you get Spirit before he leaves, he will stay in your home stable and you can ride him anytime you want. If you sell him, you will not be able to get him back. The same thing goes for the items from Tori and Sally’s shop in Fort Pinta!
If you have bought the Miradero apple but haven’t been able to give it to Spirit before he leaves, he will automatically appear in your stable after the update next Wednesday.
Horse Market The Horse Market is closed this week.
New Star Stable Launcher We’ve started rolling out a brand new launcher for the game, which some of you may have seen already! We’ll continue to release the launcher to more players as we make sure that it’s working just as it should.
For Mac users, there is one important technical change: the minimum system requirement will be changing from Mac OS 10.9 to Mac OS 10.10. Make sure your Mac is updated and you shouldn’t encounter any trouble!
We hope you all will have an awesome week until we meet again!
Hugs from your Star Stable Team ♥
